In this one-day course in partnership with Screen Skillnet you will learn how to create a social media strategy to accompany your hit TV show. Through the course you will learn how to engage with your audience on each social platform. Studying some of the most successful campaigns across Reality, Factual, and Documentary (Love Island, Grand Designs, 21 Kids and Counting), you’ll shift the way you think about distributing content online and will leave with a working knowledge of the potential of each platform, confident in how to make the most of the individual features they offer.
Through the course you will dive into how to craft a successful social media content strategy to fit your goal; how to increase brand awareness to your social accounts; and how you can use Facebook advertising to get more engagement on your content. What’s more, course leader Caroline Scott will leave you with loads of time saving tips and techniques so you can get started straight away.
The day will include a presentation and Q&A session from the social team from RTÉ, who will give an overview of their requirements once a show is commissioned.
