Screen Skills Ireland is pleased to offer Managing Unconscious Bias in the Workplace at a Time of Crisis . This course is being offered free of charge to support the Irish creative screen industries impacted by the ongoing situation with COVID-19.

This interactive virtual class aims to support participants to recognise and challenge different workplace biases that exacerbate at a time of crisis. It also prepares leaders to lead positively and inclusively and provides them with the strategies that enable fairer thinking in remote environments.

Areas covered include:

  • The concept of unconscious bias
  • Types of bias and how crisis exacerbates bias in the workplace
  • Strategies to manage personal and organisational biases

Following this course, it is hoped, participants will share their knowledge and experience in the area of Unconscious Bias with their colleagues in the work place.

Participant Profile:

This two hour virtual course is aimed at Producers, Directors, Company leaders, HOD’s and anyone interested in learning strategies and techniques to manage bias and practice inclusive behaviours.
