Screen Skills Ireland is pleased to offer Casting TV Non-Fiction for Senior Teams, tutored by Mel Walden. This course is offered free of charge to support the Irish creative screen industries impacted by the ongoing situation with COVID-19.

Mel Walden has 20 years’ TV production experience working across most genres and with specialist experience in factual entertainment. She has worked up to Series Producer level before specialising in casting.

Mel will deliver an interactive virtual class to senior casting teams which will look at the tools required to formulate a successful strategy and find ways to engage effectively with harder-to-access communities.

• Duty of care
• Effective social media campaigns
• Putting inclusivity at the forefront
